Synopsis
Brazil, 1977. Marcelo, a technology expert in his early forties, arrives in Recife during Carnival hoping to reconnect with his son and begin a quieter life. Instead, he finds himself caught in the machinery of Brazil’s military dictatorship. As political paranoia spreads through the city and violence lurks beneath the festive atmosphere, Marcelo becomes the target of powerful forces determined to silence him. Forced into hiding and aided by members of an underground resistance network, he must navigate a city filled with surveillance, corruption and betrayal while trying to survive long enough to escape the regime’s reach.
