Synopsis
Magic Candies is a 2024 Japanese animated short film directed by Daisuke Nishio and produced by Toei Animation. The film is based on the Korean picture book by Heena Baek. It follows Dong-Dong, a lonely boy who prefers playing marbles alone. One day, he purchases a bag of colorful, marble-shaped candies, only to discover that they allow him to communicate with inanimate objects and animals around him. Through these magical interactions, Dong-Dong gains new perspectives on his surroundings and himself.
